As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting local sport and our community, we are delighted to continue our sponsorship of Ruishton FC Under 10s for the new season.

Ruishton FC is an FA 1 Star Accredited Club with more than 180 playing members, from Under 7s through to Under 16s. The Club is committed to making football inclusive and accessible to players of all ages and abilities, providing a safe, welcoming and friendly environment in which young players can enjoy their football, develop their skills and be part of a team.

Our sponsorship has helped provide the Under 10s with new zip tops for all of the players, as well as new zip tops and T-shirts for the coaching team.

We are really pleased to play a small part in supporting the team and everyone involved at Ruishton FC, and we wish the Under 10s the very best of luck for the season ahead!

Young Charlie, from Backwell, set off on Saturday 16 August to cycle 970 miles over 16 days.

Undertaking this huge challenge in memory of his grandad and raising funds for Cancer Research UK .

In recent days Charlie’s Big Bike Ride has visited the grounds of Everton Football Club , Hull City , Leeds United , Liverpool FC , Manchester City and Manchester United .

Young Charlie aged 10, from Backwell, is on his way by bicycle to 21 football stadia in the UK from Newcastle down to Southampton, covering 970 miles in just 16 days, to raise funds for Cancer Research UK .

John Hodge Solicitors are proud to be supporting Charlie’s Big Bike Ride on his journey as he undertakes this massive route to honour his late grandad who he so sadly lost to cancer in October 2025 and raise much needed funds.
