A great morning volunteering for Kingskerswell Navigators. Here are some snapshots of Kate, Tony, Sarah and Jazz hard at work transforming the canopy and picnic benches of the Navigators outdoor area. There were occasions where more stain ended up on the team than the woodwork... but nonetheless the result was fantastic.

Lovely to see different departments getting together to give back to the local community in aid of our 200 days of volunteering initiative – well done everyone!

Cheryl Baxter, Partner and Head of our Commercial Property team is delighted to have acted on the purchase of St Weonards B&B, marking the start of an exciting new chapter for our client as they relocate to the beautiful Torbay area.

Moving somewhere new and taking on a business is a big step, and it’s been a privilege to play a part in helping make that transition possible. There’s something truly special about starting a new life by the bay, and we couldn’t be happier for them as they begin this journey. Here’s wishing them every success with their new venture 🌊 💙

Our 200km trek is over and now we’re onto the Torbay Half Marathon and 10k. There was such a buzz last year and we’re delighted to be sponsoring the Team Challenge event again in 2026!

Are you and your colleagues super competitive or just love a challenge? Well, why not compete for the team challenge trophy and see if your business comes out on top!

More details are available on the website but here are the basics:

• Four participants at minimum are required to take part in these challenges and the winning team will be based on the chip time of the fastest four runners.
• Enter your team name in the ‘Team Field’ or create a ‘Group’. Make sure you decide what team name you are going with and ensure everyone puts the same team name down.

Our team will be hosting the official Jelly Baby station and will be at the start and finish line ready to hand out the medals and celebrate the runners’ success. We’re all so excited and hope to see you there!

What a challenge and what a team. We crossed the finish line of our 200km trek a week ago and have now received the highlight reel showcasing what was a spectacular five days!

Trekking the breadth of the coastline linking our office locations was no mean feat, but we did it and got through it by channelling the KB way and encouraging each other through every step.

Thank you to everyone who shared kind words, followed our journey and donated – we can’t quite believe we managed to go above and beyond our fundraising target for Torbay Communities, raising over £4,500!

Our team are now taking a well-earned rest… until the next challenge!

We’re proud to announce another successful completion 🎉

Our Commercial Property team, led by Cheryl Baxter, has completed the purchase of The Mariner’s in Torquay, with Charles Darrow acting as agents and ASC Finance for Business as brokers.

Built in 1882, this highly rated Victorian guest house features seven en-suite bedrooms, private parking, and dedicated owner accommodation, all within easy reach of the seafront and town centre.

It was a pleasure to support this acquisition! 👏

It’s officially the start of our big KB 200km trek! Our team will kick off for leg 1 of 5 40km at 7am this morning from our Exeter office. We’re hoping the weather is kind to us and wish all our cohort taking part the best of luck, we know they will all give it their best shot and smash it!

With every step taken we’re hoping to reach our £4,000 fundraising target for Torbay Communities, if you’re able to donate, please head to our JustGiving page – every donation counts!
