Optimus Chambers was originally set up in 2012 when Micaila Williams decided to leave conventional private practice and work alone in an attempt to have more control over her work/home life balance. Subsequently, she was provided with an opportunity to work in house at a High Street firm of Solicitors and Optimus Chambers was put to bed for a few years whilst she gained a wealth of knowledge and e
xperience which can only be gained from a busy High Street firm. Since her return to private practice, Micaila is keen to keep a varied practice with her prime focus on client care and achieving a sense of justice for them, whatever their problems. Micaila was called to the Bar in 2004 and began practice immediately focussing on Criminal Law. She has since then obtained her Duty Solicitor Qualification and Police Station Accreditation so she is able to represent Clients from the Police Station right the way through to the European Court of Human Rights if required! With a broad range of experience and knowledge she can provide advice and assistance across most every day legal issues for Business and Individuals. Micaila is also able to accept instructions from members of the public directly under the Public Access Scheme and is authorised to conduct litigation. On a personal level Micaila enjoys family time above anything else and has a keen interest in photography and books.
