⭐ Another 5-Star Review ⭐ Thank you

“our situation was complex and after various meetings Lee was able to come up with a solution that satisfied our situation.”

That’s exactly what estate planning should be:
✔ Clear advice
✔ Practical solutions
✔ Documents tailored to your family and circumstances
✔ Proper protection for the people you love

Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Trusts are some of the most important legal documents you will ever put in place.

Many families only discover the problems after somebody dies or loses capacity. By then, it’s too late to fix.

If you’re a UK family and want to understand:
• What happens if you die without a Will
• How to protect children and beneficiaries
• How Trusts can safeguard assets
• Why LPAs are critical before illness or incapacity

Book a FREE consultation today.

Even if you decide not to proceed, you’ll leave the meeting far better informed than most people.

According to NHS Digital and Ministry of Justice data on capacity and deprivation of liberty, estimates suggest that more than one in three individuals will experience a time in their lives when they cannot make their own decisions.

And without Lasting Power of Attorney in place their loved ones will not be able to make decisions for them.

Martin Lewis CBE “I think Power of Attorney is more important than a will, because you're alive and your money could be locked away.”

The Best Gift Your Child Will Never Think to Ask For.

As parents most of us would do anything to protect our children.
We help them with school fees, driving lessons, first cars, university rent, job applications… we tackle the clothes washing pile without a blink when they come home from Uni.
But there is something you wont be able to help with once they turn 18, and most parents don't even know it.

Imagine your child is in an accident or becomes seriously ill and loses capacity, whether temporarily or permanently. In that case, you will no longer have the automatic right to make decisions on their behalf.
Not about their treatment, not about their finances, not even about their living arrangements.

You're legally locked out.

Unless they have a Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) in place.
Powers of Attorney aren't just for elderly relatives. They're about protecting fit, healthy young adults who think they're invincible until life reminds them otherwise. And when it does, the parents are left helpless, watching from the sidelines, trying to advocate for a child they no longer have legal control over, while courts and bureaucracy take control.

Let that sink in.

No matter how loving or involved you are as a parent, you will not be able to manage their bank account to pay rent, tuition, credit cards, etc. You will not be able to challenge housing decisions. You'll have to apply to the Court of Protection, a slow, costly, and emotionally draining process.

Imagine the solution:
There is no red tape, no court delays, just love, care, and the legal ability to do what's needed for your children.
That's why establishing LPAS with your child might be the best present they'll ever receive, even if they don't realise it yet.
It's not something they'll ask for.
It won't go viral on TikTok.
But it will protect them when it matters most, just in case.

Martin Lewis CBE
"I don't care how old you are. It's not dementia, it's strokes, it's accidents which leave us unable to make financial decisions…"

We have helped thousands of parents and young adults set up powers of attorney. Would it be a crazy idea to protect you and your loved ones?

📝 What is Probate? 📝

Probate is the legal process that happens after someone passes away. It involves confirming the validity of their will (if there is one), settling any outstanding debts, and distributing their assets to the rightful beneficiaries.

Without a will, probate can be more complicated, as the court will decide how the estate is divided according to the law. This is why having an up-to-date will is so important—it makes the process smoother and ensures your wishes are respected.

If you have questions about probate or need help with your estate planning, I’m here to guide you every step of the way. 💙

Why Empathy Matters
As an estate planner specialising in Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, and Probate, I’ve seen first-hand how vital empathy is in our field. Understanding my clients' emotions and concerns is crucial. While compassion motivates us to act, empathy builds trust and ensures our clients feel heard throughout the planning process.

Research indicates that when clients feel understood, they are more likely to engage in the planning process and make informed decisions about their future.

Unfortunately, many people report feeling overwhelmed or disconnected during these crucial conversations when dealing with' old school' solicitors.

As Honey Legal professionals, we set out to change that narrative by prioritizing empathy in every interaction. We aim to make the estate planning experience more compassionate and supportive for our clients.
