Tomorrow - 19th February 2022 - sees the 15th anniversary of Gordon Hotson joining Rob Ross, trading then as Ross, Solicitor from Chippenham firm Wood Awdry and Ford, where he had been a partner.

Hazel Tee, now the Practice Manager here, joined from the same firm a week or so later as a secretary and Sam Arif joined in March 2007.

Gordon, Sam, Hazel and the rest of the team here remain committed to providing high quality legal advice and representation in all criminal matters.

At the end of a year which has been difficult for all, the Directors and staff of Ross Solicitors would like to wish everyone a happy and peaceful Christmas and a safe and hopefully prosperous New Year.

Our offices will be closed from 1300hrs on 24th December 2020 until 0900hrs on 4th January 2021.

If you need assistance from us over the festive season, we will be providing 24 hour cover at Police Stations. The Police will be able to contact one of our staff and they will provide advice and representation.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, such representation is most likely to be provided remotely to minimise the number of people present in interview. This does not reduce the level of input we have into the process and we will ensure that your rights are properly protected at all times.

We will also provide cover for Court hearings over the period when our offices are closed and the Court will be able to contact us if representation is required. Again, there will be one of our Advocates on standby each day to attend Court for any clients who have been refused bail by the Police.

The Courts are not running normal sittings during this period and will only be dealing with ‘overnight’ cases
