There's something special about seeing a project take shape when several of your partners are playing a part in bringing it to life.
This month, we're recognising RDM Electrical & Mechanical Services, part of Raven Delta Group, for their continued commitment to promoting a positive safety culture on site. Consistently demonstrating high standards of compliance, the team recently took the opportunity to reinforce our monthly SMART Objective on Slips, Trips & Falls through a site-wide toolbox talk, helping to keep awareness high and safety front of mind across the workforce.
Their proactive approach is supporting the transformation of Port Talbot's former Princess Royal Theatre into Yr Aelwyd, a landmark redevelopment that is breathing new life into one of the town's most recognisable buildings.
Working on site under Morgan Sindall as Principal Contractor, RDM are contributing to a project that will create a modern, accessible cultural hub while preserving an important part of Port Talbot's heritage.
It's been particularly rewarding for us to see several Green Hat partners contributing to the redevelopment, with fellow clients Envisage Envelope Solutions and J2R Demolition Limited also playing their part throughout the project.
Projects of this scale are a great reminder that successful delivery isn't just about technical expertise. Good housekeeping, clear access routes and attention to everyday hazards all play a vital role in keeping people safe and work progressing smoothly. As highlighted in this month's SMART Objective, preventing slips, trips and falls starts with getting the basics right.
As the project moves closer to completion, we're proud to see our clients helping shape a venue that will serve the community for years to come.
👏 Well done to RDM Mechanical & Electrical and everyone involved in bringing Yr Aelwyd to life.
