Recent garage conversion completed ✔️

We constructed a new dividing wall, allowing part of the garage to be retained for storage while creating a dedicated dining area. The existing wall between the garage and kitchen was removed to open up the space, seamlessly integrating the new dining area with the kitchen.

A new insulated floor system was installed and raised to match the existing kitchen floor level, ensuring a consistent finish and smooth transition throughout.

The existing back door was replaced with a full-pane glass window to maximise natural light, installed by Steve SerFix Property Solutions

Electrical works were carried out to install new sockets and reposition the ceiling light centrally within the room.

The walls were then boarded and skimmed by KFB Plastering who also fitted the skirting boards, architraves, and door.

Great work from all trades involved—another successful project completed.

A fantastic way to maximise space and improve the overall flow of the home.

Another job completed today in Sneyd Green 👌

We started with a complete blank canvas and transformed it into a solid, level shed base. The weather definitely put up a fight over the last few days 😓 but we pushed through and got it finished 💪

The customer is planning to continue the retaining sleepers across the rest of the garden and level off the grass so it all finishes neatly up to the front of the base — it’s going to look spot on once it’s all tied together!

🔥 Fireplace Transformation – Sneyd Green

Another project completed and ready to impress 👌

Here’s what we did:

✅ Removed existing gas fire and safely capped off
✅ Opened up the original fireplace
✅ Ground out old, damaged mortar joints
✅ Deep cleaned brickwork to remove years of soot
✅ Repointed using traditional lime mortar
✅ Installed new flue liner
✅ Cast new concrete chimney capping

The result? A clean, restored fireplace full of character 🔥

Another job ticked off the list this week over in Penkhull for a returning customer ✅

I’ve been working on this garden over the past 2 years – building a pergola, creating a kids’ play area, and last year completing the dwarf retaining wall to set the project up for this final stage.

This time, the existing patio was lifted and prepped, footings were poured, and the dwarf wall was extended across the front. A solid hardcore base was then put down and compacted before relaying the patio to finish it off 👌

Another happy customer, and hopefully plenty more work to come from them in the future 👍🏻

📔 Our diary is now open and we’re taking bookings from July onwards – don’t leave it too late to get booked in, as spaces fill up fast!

Fence Replacement – Birches Head

The old fence had rotten posts and finally gave way during the storms earlier this year.

We replaced it with new treated posts and a fresh fence design with 45mm gaps to allow wind through while still keeping plenty of privacy.

Before & After Transformation – Milton ⭐️

We recently completed this job over in Milton where the front of the property had a raised gable end finished with coping stones.

Working alongside JB Carpentry & Joinery we removed the existing setup and transformed it into a more traditional style, installing new fascias, soffits, and a dry verge system to give the roofline a much cleaner and more modern finish.

A great improvement to the overall look of the property — and most importantly, a very happy customer with the final result 👍🏻
