Complete refresh for Largoward Village Hall this week.
Old hazelwood picket fence stripped out and fresh 90cm high ‘hit and miss’ fence, gates and barrier has really given the place a lift.
Over the moon how this has turned out, the difference in the Village Hall is phenomenal ❤️

Recent installation of an 1800 (6ft) high fence, with double 18mmx100mm spars.
A superb option for providing maximum privacy between neighbours whilst maintaining excellent weather resilience, by allowing wind to pass through.

HATE using this stuff - bodging at its finest. However, needs must. Customers budget can’t stretch to new lead so this’ll do in the mean time.
Also - if anyone has these “unicorn” tiles laying about somewhere, give me a shout… money waiting ❤️

Natural stone wall for both function and aesthetic.
DPC had been bridged on the property years previous, causing damp issues on the North facing back wall.
We’ve dug it back exposing the DPC and harling drip, and altered the ground level to minimum 150mm below allowing the house wall to breathe.
Coupled with a 900mm gravel run on permeable membrane to the new mini retaining wall, should see a real improvement in airflow, evaporation and water run off.
Step still to be finished….
We’ll get the stone pointed in lime mortar when the weather warms up a bit!
