No.18 Chambers welcomes back Amelia King from Maternity Leave.

We are delighted to welcome Amelia back to chambers on the 3rd November 2026 following her recent maternity leave. Amelia was called to the bar in 2016 and is a specialist family practitioner. Amelia’s has a busy practice, welcoming instructions across a wide range of family law encompassing private law children cases, injunction and domestic abuse, and financial remedies.
Amelia has been praised for her professionalism, client care and quality of work which has led to her receiving repeat instructions.

No.18 Chambers welcomes two new tenants

No.18 Chambers is pleased to announce that Holly McGahey & Callan Withers will join Chambers as tenants following the successful completion of their pupillages. Holly & Callan begin their tenancy on 7th October 2026.

Their appointments follow pupillages where they have worked closely with members of Chambers, gaining experience across a wide range of cases family cases( including private law children, care , matrimonial finance) and civil law, while developing their skills as advocates

On Sunday 27 September 2026 No 18 Chambers are taking part in Walk the Test Way for Southampton Hospitals Charity in September.

We will be walking 11 miles to raise funds to improve the lives of patients and staff at University Hospitals Southampton.

As our local hospital and one of the UK's best Children's Hospitals, it is a cause deeply close to our hearts. As one of the top three paediatric treatment centres in the UK, Southampton Children's Hospital provides world class medical care for children across the south of England and further afield who are experiencing some of the most complex and severe illnesses and injuries. Any donations would be gratefully received.

Southampton Hospitals Charity works to improve the care and services provided by University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust. We make grants to support with improving patient care, clinical outcomes, the hospital environment, and pioneering research.

From funding state-of-the-art equipment like a life-saving ultrasound scanner in the Children’s Hospital, to running arts programmes for dementia patients we work to improve outcomes for thousands of patients every year.
