MEET THE TEAM

Stephen Lockwood - Managing Director

Stephen graduated from the University of London as a Bachelor of Laws with Honours. Following successful completion of the Law Society Finals course, he served his Articles at Wragge & Co, one of Birmingham’s largest and most prestigious Corporate Law Firms, where he was articled to the firm’s Senior Partner, Sir Patrick Lawrence.

He completed his Articles in the firm’s Corporate Department handling a wide range of Company, Commercial and Corporate transactions before eventually setting up in private practice.

Over his many years in practice, Stephen has gained considerable experience in a wide variety of Disciplines. These have mostly been in the Company and Commercial field but have also included such diverse things as successfully defending a soldier in a Court Martial; obtaining a substantial settlement for a commercial agent in a dispute with his Principal, a blue chip company; and involvement in several multi-million pound acquisitions.

His meticulous attention to detail and thorough grasp of his field mean clients can be assured that nothing is overlooked and their interests will be thoroughly protected.

Stephen is widely regarded by clients as one of the leading Company and Commercial Solicitors in the West Midlands.

Angela Brown

Angela’s legal career spans over 19 years and she has extensive experience in all types of family law matters. Angela is known for her sympathetic and sensitive approach in guiding and supporting clients through the process and has been a member of the Family Accreditation Panel of the Law Society for the last 7 years. Her attention to detail, together with her comprehensive knowledge in her field means that she is the first port of call for many clients who appreciate her approachable manner and competence.

Angela specialises in all aspects of family law, including divorce and finances, cohabitation and separation, asset division, child arrangements, maintenance, father’s rights, grandparents’ rights, pre-nuptial agreements and cases involving domestic violence.

Outside the law, Angela enjoys many hobbies including walking with her dog Tonto, swimming, tennis, music, reading and painting.
