George Watson Solicitors was 5 years old yesterday 🥳🎂🎈
I was away for a long weekend leaving Grant Watson in control.
I came back today with a calm handover of matters that need my immediate attention, I quickly reacquainted myself with my to do list and we were back to usual within a very short time.
This would have been different a few years ago and I would have dreaded seeing my inbox after only a day out of the office (conveyancing solicitors and their support staff receive a huge number of emails every day – that will never change!) I know it depends on what’s going on and the types of transactions that we have on our open matter list but I know for a fact that the smooth handover is entirely down to the really hard work and discipline that Grant and I have put into the firm and the ongoing regular changes that we make to ensure the firm works effectively and efficiently both for us and for our clients.
But the biggest thing I have noted is that the firm is in really safe hands with Grant when I’m unavailable. Knowing I can step away from time to time without worrying makes me enjoy my time both at work and away from work so much more and that positivity affects everything. So thank you Grant, thank you so very much for believing in my visions for the business and persevering with my determination to ensure we got to this point, especially on those days when it didn’t feel like all that hard work was worth it!
And a huge thank you to all of our clients, past and present, for putting your trust in us to see you through the rollercoaster that is the conveyancing process! ❤️🏡🗝️
