A new lead roof installed today for two lovely customers in Redhill.

From the first reach out to us, we got the scaffold up and the job completed in 2 days and in the dry ready for the bad weather ahead.

We installed code 5 lead including welding and bossing and a lead expansion joint to allow the lead to have flexibility with the movement of the building and restrict any capabilities to split in the future.

Our Guildford re-roof is now complete!🤩

We used the HF weathered tiles to give the new, dark tone to the roof which the client requested and we got the results we were looking for.

We also installed black u-pvc fascia with fascia vents to enhance loft space airflow and a deep flow gutter system too, this is required due to the volume of rain water run-off from the surface area of the roof.

Our job completed in REDHILL, within a day! ✅

Here at J.Dansie Roofing and Property services we don’t mess about!

Due to the old roof coming to the end of its life. Our team was called in, to replace the old with the new!

The old felt had become split and brittle and due to there being no flashing in place, elements were running behind the felt and finding its way into the property.

We installed a new 3 layer felt roofing system with a breathable, tacked bitunous felt base layer to allow the roof to breathe.

And to finish, we installed lead flashings which are chased into the brickwork and sealed to stop any more water ingress to the perimeter.

The final product looks fantastic and the lovely customer described us as the most professional and slick roofing company she has ever came across and couldn’t thank us enough! 😁

This is a repair job we have completed in Chipstead.

The mineral felt had de-bonded from the lead flashings causing water to pe*****te underneath and cause a leak.

We have resolved the problem by applying a coat of fibrous acrylic paint on the areas affected, which turns hard once cured, to ensure a weather proof finish.
