When will we get the keys?” 🔑🏡

It’s one of our most asked questions!

Before we can hand over the keys, we must receive confirmation from the seller’s solicitor that completion has taken place and the keys can be released. Even if your removals van is ready and waiting, we need that go-ahead first.

This often happens around lunchtime, but there’s no guaranteed time, particularly when a chain is involved. Keep your plans flexible, we’ll keep you updated throughout! 📲

Once we have the good news, we meet you at the property for the handover. Moving day is busy enough without adding a trip to an office, finding parking and collecting keys to your list. 💚

A few little tips to help the day run smoothly:

🔌 Keep essentials handy: chargers, medication, snacks and the all-important kettle!
📸 Take meter readings and photos when leaving your old home and arriving at your new one.
🔑 Leave spare keys, window keys and any useful instructions together for your buyers.
📦 Give cupboards, the loft, shed and garage one final check before you leave.
