In 2000 TSG Building Services plc was created to allow the company to tender for large contract work within the social housing and commercial sector. TSG now boasts the following Divisions:

Mechanical Installations – for both Commercial and Domestic Central Heating Systems
TSG Electrical – Testing and Rewires t

TSG Renewable Energy – Servicing, Maintenance and Installations of Solar PV, Solar Thermal, Biomass, Air Source & Ground Source Heat Pumps

TSG Building Services turnover is £60m making the business big enough to cope with all range of contracts but accountable at all levels including the directorship for all works carried out on Customers property. TSG benefits from longstanding existing relationships with a diverse customer base within the Social Housing arena and long-term framework arrangements. A frontrunner in understanding Central Government Funding for fuel poverty in Warm Homes and Eco. As a result, TSG has secured multi-million-pound funding for its clients to reach fuel poverty properties. Today TSG is still a family owned and run business, operating from its Head Office in Potters Bar, servicing contracts and clients throughout the United Kingdom. Adam Thrussell is the Chief Executive Officer & Owner of the company making him the 3rd generation of the Thrussell family to continue the ethos and values of the business.

Big news from our visit to the St Albans Civic Centre ! The Communities 1st 'Communities Thirst' coffee stand is doing brilliant work, and we’re proud to say that TSG has donated £400 to help them kit out their cart with tables, aprons, chairs, cups, and new signage.

This stand isn’t just about great coffee, it’s a real stepping stone for people aiming for full-time work. They offer hands-on volunteering roles, plus opportunities for others to develop the experience they need to move into employment, and it’s working. Many volunteers have already gone on to land jobs as baristas in local coffee shops.

Volunteering at the Civic Rose Garden, Hertsmere

In 2025, TSG got involved in volunteer work at the Civic Rose Garden in Hertsmere. Our team helped prepare the area for new hedge planting and grass reseeding.

We raked, dug, and planted around 115–125 plants, helping to refresh and improve the space for the community to enjoy. A great day of teamwork and giving back! 🌱
