Being the first firm in Neath and Port Talbot (and one of the first in Wales) to be awarded a Franchise Quality Mark by the Legal Services Commission we have gone from strength to strength in our provision of publicly funded work. At the same time our private client departments have expanded significantly due to our commitment to providing a friendly, quality service to business and individual clients. We are a practice built on a foundation of sound, sensible and independent legal advice of the highest standard provided by expert Lawyers and a highly trained and dedicated support staff. As part of the Legal Services Commission policy to ensure quality in all aspects of legal services delivered under the Legal Aid Quality Mark scheme, all firms are required to submit files for an in-depth audit known as "Peer Review". The Reviewers will then award a score from Excellence (1) to Failure in Performance (5). As an indication of how we strive to offer an excellence of service to all our clients the Legal Services Commission have awarded us a Competence Plus (2) rating following Peer Reviews in the publicly funded areas of Criminal Law and Family Law. On 11 August 2025 we will be joining the team at JCP Solicitors, a renowned Welsh law firm based in South Wales. This is a fantastic strategic development for both businesses.
