🚣 Supporting Porlock Weir Gig Club 🚣‍♀️

Porlock Weir Gig Club does brilliant work promoting fitness, teamwork and community involvement, so we were delighted to fund a new set of bespoke rowing seats for their crews.

The bank holiday weekend at Porlock Weir was the perfect time to see the new kit in action. In excellent weather, with the harbour full of activity, Goose was out on the water and the new seats were put through their paces for the first time.

Ben and Emily Simpson of Simpson Law caught up with the crew on their return to the harbour who all seemed very pleased with a more comfortable row!

Huge congratulations to team Moorland Mums! They completed the gruelling 4-day trek around the Exmoor perimeter and have raised a whopping amount for local schools 💪. Check out their post (shared) if you wish to donate.

Well, it’s been one whole week since we set off on our Exmoor Perimeter Challenge! From all of the girls we are truly humbled by the response from our local community, thank you for all your messages of support, well wishes, and generous donations to our go fund me me page… which now stands at an amazing £11,734!! This really will go a long way in our lovely first schools.

We still have a lot of R&R needed to make a full recovery after our 4 day challenge, but with busy lives, and Many of us living on farms have now started the busiest time of year with lambing and calving, life must go on!

We will keep you all updated on our recovery and our go fund me page will be open for a few more weeks as we have some press articles coming out soon!!
