Why does it take so long to sort the legals when buying or selling a house?

Not Every Delay Represents Failure ...

1. Many delays arise not because information is missing, but because legal, financial and regulatory risks have been identified and require proper investigation and management.

2. In many cases, delay is not evidence of inefficiency. It is evidence that legal risks are being properly investigated before a client commits to what is often the largest financial transaction of their life.

3. If we do not sort out these issues, you as a client can be held responsible as well as us, leading to you not being able to sell or mortgage your house, and we can be fined or closed down.
