Woods Solicitors secure a formal not guilty verdict on a class A drugs conspiracy.

Our client allegedly committed a class A drugs conspiracy offence, whilst on bail for another drugs conspiracy, has had his case discontinued following submissions by Woods Solicitors and has been released from custody.

His co-defendant, represented by another firm, pleaded guilty at an early stage, and now faces a lengthy custodial sentence.

We have represented and mitigated in relation to our client who was appearing for a Section 20 assault upon club door staff.
Not only did we keep the matter in the Magistrates Court but our client received a suspended sentence for a matter which would ordinarily result in a custodial sentence at the Crown Court.

Our client was accused, charged and appeared at the Crown Court for an offence of r**e.

Today, following a trial, our client received a not guilty verdict. Our client maintained his innocence throughout and justice was served.
