♻️ Ridley & Hall News: Tea Crisis Averted! ☕🚨
We're all for resilience at Ridley & Hall, but even the best equipment occasionally reaches the end of the road...
This week, after years of loyal service and thousands of cups of Yorkshire Tea, our office kettle finally succumbed to the recent heatwave. 🫖💀
Recognising the potential impact on colleague wellbeing (and caffeine levels!), urgent action was taken to restore brewing capacity and maintain business continuity. Thankfully, normal service has now resumed. ☕✅
Importantly, the old kettle wasn't destined for landfill. Instead, it was taken to the small electrical items recycling point at South Elmsall Library, part of Wakefield Council pink bin recycling scheme for small electricals. ♻️
As a business, we're mindful of our environmental responsibilities and always looking for simple ways to reduce waste and recycle where we can. Small electrical items often contain valuable materials that can be reused, helping to reduce the environmental impact of discarded electronics.
So, here's a little challenge:
🔌 Have you got an old kettle, toaster, charger, hairdryer, headphones or other small electrical item gathering dust at home or work?
Why not take it to one of Wakefield Council's small electrical recycling points and give it a chance at a new life rather than sending it to landfill?
