FAQ's
What Services Do Your Fees Include?
We normally charge an initial, highly competitive fee of £80 for a 1 hour consultation.
Kind note: we would request that the consultation fee is paid and confirmed to the ‘Client Account’ prior to us making contact to conduct the consultation.
This consultation covers the following points in order to assess your legal matter;
* Call or video call you at a convenient time to you
*We obtain some brief personal details, such as your name, residential address, nationality and your current visa (if you’re in the UK) or your personal circumstances in your home country
*Which UK visa type you are considering?
*Whether you will have any dependents (family members) travelling with you?
*Your previous immigration history (about any travel to other countries/UK)
*If you have previously been refused a visa for the UK or any other country?
*We will advise you about the requirements of your chosen visa AND
*We will use this information to assess the merits (chances) of you (within your circumstances) in obtaining a visa for the visa category you will require
If it appears that the visa category you have chosen may not be suitable for you then we will advise you about other types of visa categories you could consider and how you likely you are to meet the requirements - At this point if you wish to think about the advice given or reconsider your options then we will leave you to think about this.
If however, you are happy to move forward and progress in making an application we can then discuss the fixed fees chargeable to issue an invoice to you to begin the work for you
How Long Will My Visa Application Take?
This usually depends on the type of visa category you apply for and also whether you are in the UK or in your home country.
Out of country applications (your home/residential country) depends on the volume of applications received at the relevant visa sections. Therefore visa processing times can differ from each location.
However if the visa category you apply for allows extra services such as ‘Priority Service’, The Mobile Visa Application Centre, ‘Self Service Kiosk System’, ‘Premium lounge services’ etc; we can advise you about this at a later stage.
I Was Previously Refused A Visa For The UK, So What Can I do?
Adverse affects of a previously refused visa application, does not necessarily mean that you cannot re-apply for another visa in the same category, or different category.
The reasons for refusal should be carefully addressed and assessed as to whether resubmitting a new application in the same category or different one would cause any further harm to your immigration history.
There are however, some exceptions; if a person submitted an application and provided documents obtained by an illegitimate method or in another words ‘false documents’ or mis- representation of material facts or where there is clear evidence of dishonesty or deception in an application then this can be a cause for concern.
Nevertheless it is still worth making contacting to discuss the matter further in order to ascertain all circumstances in this case.
I’m Already In The UK, But How Can I Change My Visa Category?
If you are already in the UK and due to your circumstances you need to change your visa category, then you will need to apply to the Home Office (UK Immigration Department) to change the status of your visa category.
However you must bear in mind that if you are in the UK as a ‘Visitor/Tourist’ you cannot change your visa status to another category. In any case you should seek legal advice for further guidance before proceeding to make an application to the Home Office.
I Think I May Have Overstayed My Permitted Visa – What Now?
If you think that you may have overstayed your visa in the UK, you must immediately seek legal advice to establish whether this is the case; we would assess your matter and advise you the best possible and prompt actions you should take to avoid being classed as an ‘overstayer’.
There are many genuine factors that affect a person becoming overstayed in the UK.
