Even small steps towards better planning can make a significant difference for both parents and children.

Our latest blog explores practical ways separated parents can help reduce conflict, improve communication, and create more stability during the school holidays.

Choosing a conveyancer often comes down to one thing:

Confidence.
✅Confidence that calls will be returned.
✅Confidence that deadlines are managed.
✅Confidence that someone is on top of the detail.

Jamie first used Burtons over five years ago, returned for their latest purchase, and has since recommended our team to several friends and family members.

We’re proud to have earned that trust.

Thank you for your kind words, and well done to Julie, Daisy and the wider team.

We often speak to people who assume being excluded from a Will means there is nothing they can do.

That is not always the case.
Sometimes it may be the result of an outdated Will, family changes, or concerns around how it was prepared.

“What’s one thing you wish clients knew before a dispute escalates?”
For Nigel, it’s simple:

Many disputes begin long before anyone thinks of them as disputes.

🚩No contract.
🚩No clear discussion.
🚩No agreed expectations.

By the time people seek advice, they often feel stuck.

If you need personal advice tailored to your situation regarding a dispute, our team is here to help.

The legal work may finish.
But the experience stays with people.

Mr Curtin previously worked with Esther 12 years ago - and chose to return when it came time to sell and buy again.
We think that says a lot.

We’re proud that Burtons could back that trust with responsive service, a helpful team, and technology designed to make the process easier.

That’s the standard we aim for.

“There’s too many new rules… and now there’s another deadline?”
Honestly, many landlords are feeling exactly that.

And missing the 31 May 2026 deadline could lead to fines of up to £7,000.

Landlords may need to provide the government’s mandatory Information Sheet to tenants by 31 May 2026 - and the rules around how it must be served are stricter than many realise.

For example:
❌ Sending only a link is not valid
❌ Assuming the letting agent handled it may not protect you

Our latest blog breaks down:
✔ who the rules apply to
✔ what must be provided
✔ how the Information Sheet must be served
✔ key deadlines landlords should know

If you need support understanding your obligations under the Renters’ Rights Act, our Landlord & Tenant team is here to help.

Most buyers know what they want in a property and before making an offer, most focus on price, location, and layout.

But costly problems often sit elsewhere.
Cracks. Damp. Flood risk. Boundary issues. Title plan concerns. Neighbourhood red flags.

That’s why we’ve created a free Property Red Flags Checklist to help buyers spot issues early and make more informed decisions.

Some clients come to us for one matter.
Others return when life moves forward.

A house sale, a new purchase, updating a Will - different milestones, but the same need usually sits behind each one: clear communication, timely updates, and a team that makes the process feel manageable.

We’re grateful to Becky for trusting Burtons across several important moments and for sharing this kind feedback.

Whether you’re moving home, planning ahead, or dealing with both at once, our team is here to help.
