Oxfordshire’s Warm Homes: Local Grant page now says demand is very high. If your tenant may qualify, is the property evidence ready?

The scheme covers eligible private tenants in homes rated EPC D to G and may fund insulation, solar panels or a suitable heat pump. Start by checking the current EPC, sharing the official eligibility details with your tenant and preparing any ownership or consent documents.

Remember: a wait-list place does not replace today’s MEES duties for an F- or G-rated rental.

🌡️ Important Service Update

Due to the current extreme temperatures and in the interests of staff welfare and safety, E8 Property Services will be temporarily suspending afternoon appointments over the next couple of days.

While we appreciate this may cause some inconvenience and could result in slightly longer lead times, the wellbeing of our team must remain our priority during this period of exceptionally hot weather.

A new public Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES) register has been made available, giving landlords, letting agents and property professionals a clearer way to check registered exemptions and enforcement action for private rented properties.

With private rented sector (PRS) MEES requirements set to rise to EPC C by 2030, now is a good time for landlords to review EPCs, exemptions and improvement plans across their portfolios.
