We are delighted to share that our Macmillan Coffee Morning raised an amazing £502.45 for Macmillan Cancer Support! 💚

A huge thank you to everyone who baked, donated, attended, and supported the event. Your generosity will help Macmillan continue providing vital support to people living with cancer and their families.

It was wonderful to see so many people come together over coffee, cake, and conversation for such an important cause.

Together, we raised £502.45 and made a real difference. Thank you! 💚🍰☕

A recent study by the British Journal of Sports Medicine has concluded that taking just a 5 minute walk break every hour boosts our mood, lessens fatigue, and yet will not undermine our work performance in the Family Department. Here, at Newstead and Walker Solicitors we like to look after the Family Team solicitors, who in turn then can look after you and all our Family Law Clients. We like to use the time usefully to walk and enjoy a glass of water whilst resetting our posture and increasing our step count- which is a bonus!

Leading Wharfedale law firm, Newstead & Walker Solicitors, today announced the strategic appointment of renowned solicitor Angela Green to its family law team, significantly boosting the firms family law capabilities and cementing its position as a leading powerhouse for complex family law disputes in the region.

Managing Partner James Dale comments:

"Angela joins our established family team as a Senior Associate Solicitor bringing a wealth of experience in high profile matrimonial finance, private children law and a particular specialism in family cases involving farming. Our specialist family team is already highly regarded, headed up by Katharine Baker, but adding a practitioner of Angela’s calibre makes a formidable four-person team and elevates our service even further. It ensures our family clients receive the best possible advice during life's most challenging times".
