When planning for the future, many people understand the importance of making a Will. It ensures your wishes are followed and your loved ones are protected after you’re gone.

But what many people don’t realise is that a Will only takes effect on death. It doesn’t help if you’re still alive but unable to make decisions for yourself.

A Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) protects you during your lifetime. It allows you to choose who can make decisions on your behalf if illness or an accident means you no longer can. Without one, your family may face delays, stress and significant expense at an already difficult time.

In this presentation, we’ll share five key reasons why putting LPAs in place is one of the most important steps you can take to fully protect yourself and your family.
