🏃‍♂️🐺 We're Taking on the Wolf Run for Mary Ann Evans Hospice!

This September, in celebration of Mary Ann Evans Hospice's 35th Anniversary of caring for our local community, team LDJ consisting of Neve Prince, Callum Finney, Melissa Mae Wiseman, Julia Wilson and Rachel Dell will be getting muddy and tackling a 5K Wolf Run to raise funds for this fantastic local charity.

Mary Ann Evans Hospice provides invaluable support to patients and their families, and we'd be incredibly grateful for any donation, big or small, to help them continue their amazing work.

🎉 Congratulations to Rathan Walia Kumar on Qualifying as a Solicitor!

We are delighted to announce that Rathan Kumar has successfully completed his training contract with the firm and, following his admission to the Roll of Solicitors on the 5th June 2026, has been promoted to Solicitor within our Commercial Property team.

This achievement reflects Rathan's hard work, dedication, and commitment throughout his training and legal career to date. We are incredibly proud to see him reach this important milestone.

Rathan advises on a broad range of commercial property and corporate matters, including the acquisition and disposal of freehold and leasehold commercial property, business leases, lease renewals, business sales, shareholder agreements, project development, and associated planning agreements and options.

He joins our established Commercial Property team, led by Donna Green, Head of Department and Senior Associate Solicitor, and Martin Bunney, Consultant Solicitor.

We were delighted to attend the Market Bosworth Rotary Club meeting on the 26th May, following a kind invitation from Club President, Chris Kitson, and member, John Ruddock.

Our Partner, Preya Gohil, and Trainee Solicitor, Elle-Ann Miller, from the Private Client Team delivered a presentation to members on Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs) and Inheritance Tax planning. The session explored the importance of putting the right arrangements in place to protect both individuals and their families, while helping members understand some of the key legal and financial considerations for the future.

The presentation was very well received, and we would like to thank the Rotary Club members for their warm welcome, engagement and thoughtful questions throughout the session.

It was a pleasure to share our expertise with the local community and help raise awareness of the importance of forward planning.
