🏠 Porch roof re-roofed today

Today’s job involved stripping the tiles from a porch roof where the existing timber battens had become rotten and needed replacing.

The tiles were carefully removed before all of the rotten battens were taken off. Once stripped back, we re-lined the roof and installed new treated battens, creating a strong and stable surface for the tiles.

The original tiles were then carefully fixed back into place, completing the roof and giving it a secure and weatherproof finish. 🔨🏠

🏠 It seems to be roof scrape season!

Two properties in the last week have had a full roof scrape, removing moss build-up and leaving the tiles looking so much cleaner.

But we don’t just scrape and leave it there… 👇

A specialist treatment is then applied which continues working over the following 6–12 months, helping to break down remaining moss, algae and organic growth while reducing the chance of it coming back.

Please note that the hosepipe ban only applies to those whose water supply is from Anglian Water, and it’s important to highlight that Anglian Water does not service any water mains in the entire NG13 or LE14/13 area. Additionally, businesses are exempt from this hosepipe ban, meaning we can continue to provide our cleaning services without any restrictions.
