🦉✨ Rusty the Barn Owl on BBC Breakfast! ✨🦉

We’re so proud of our beautiful Barn Owl, Rusty, who made her TV debut on BBC Breakfast this Sunday! She wowed presenters Luxmy Gopal and Ben Bland — and helped highlight a really important message: Barn owls need our help to survive.

These silent hunters rely on open meadows, safe shelter like barns and owl boxes, and a healthy food chain. Sadly, many don’t survive their first winter due to bad weather, road accidents, or rodent poison in their prey. But with a few simple actions — like raising hedges, avoiding poisons, or sponsoring an owl box — we can all make a difference.

lost Acton bridge black and White spaniel went missing this morning she is an old dog and is unable to hear she is very friendly ,microchipped and wearing collar with ID home details

Our beautiful Tawny Owl Tara has been on TV! She has had an exciting time in the BBC Breakfast Studio this morning meeting the team behind the scenes and then getting her debut with presenter Dan Walker. The team said that this was the first owl to be a guest in their studio!

She has shown off her beautiful features of her lovely big nocturnal dark eyes, flat shaped disc face and woodland like camouflaged plumage. If you would like to lean more about the secret world of our native tawny owls then why not book onto our much loved 'Owl Prowl' where you can get up close and personal to one! Our experience includes handling and flying a variety of owls in particular from our native Britain, in the beautiful grounds of the falconry centre at Acton Bridge, Cheshire.

We are of course now open again for customers to book their experience days and as places are limited as we aim to keep quality in mind with a small number of participants - please ring to book in advance for that special date!

Christmas is less than 6 weeks away! For those looking for gift ideas to get family and friends to enjoy the outdoors and get close to nature – then look no further! Why not spoil yourself, family and friends to some quality time with our beautiful birds of prey and animals here at Vale Royal Falconry surrounded by the refreshing outdoors and lovely Cheshire Countryside!

Following the COVID-19 restrictions, all being well, we will be providing bookings throughout winter and into the new year, so if you fancy a Meerkat Experience for the family, or a Falconry experience for adults, we can cater for private bookings.

We supply gift cards and vouchers for all of our outdoor experiences and you can buy these via our online shop or over the phone (07974064078) and any purchased prior to Christmas will be dated from 25.12.20, giving you plenty of time to book in during 2020. Experience the Outdoors at the Falconry Centre

We’re still open during the winter for all our activities – meerkat experience and our full range of birds of prey. We are operating with limited number of participants and as we don’t have day visitors and you have exclusivity to our facilities in a very safe environment. Come and enjoy our beautiful countryside and experience our magnificent birds of prey.

Vale Royal Falconry have been awarded the 2020 Travellers’ Choice Award from Trip Advisor!

We would like to publish a huge thank you to all of our customers for your kind support and visits during this summer and giving us some wonderful and encouraging feedback on your experiences here with us.

We do hope to see you again in the near future! We are still offering experience days with limited numbers throughout autumn and into winter albeit with shorter hours and we have gift experiences available to purchase on line or over the phone.
