Since 2013, Hadaway & Hadaway Solicitors has proudly supported dedicating time and expertise each November to writing Wills and helping raise an incredible £7,065.

Rather than charging our usual fees for basic Wills, we invite clients to make a donation to Will Aid, supporting vital charitable work both across the UK and around the world.

The money raised helps Will Aid’s partner charities continue their important work — from providing humanitarian aid to supporting vulnerable children and people facing hardship here in the UK.

We’re proud to play a small part in making a difference. 💙

The Renters’ Rights Bill is likely to become effective in late 2025 and is the most significant reform the private rented sector has seen since the Housing Act 1988. The Bill has wide-ranging implications for landlords, tenants, and letting agents alike.

The key changes are likely to include:
👉Abolition of Section 21 Evictions and fixed term assured tenancies
👉New grounds of possession
👉Introducing the Decent Homes Standard to the private sector
👉Addressing Rental Bidding Wars and Unfair Practices
👉Limiting In-Tenancy Rent Increases
👉Extending Awaab’s Law: Ensuring Safe Living Conditions
👉Creating a Private Rented Sector Database and a Private Rented Sector Landlord Ombudsman
👉Enhanced Rent Repayment Orders
👉Rights to keep a pet

Happy Christmas Jumper Day! 🎄

Our staff have been getting into the Christmas spirit today and we have been raising money for a very worthy cause.

In conjunction with Newcastle Benfield FC and Northumberland Fusiliers, all proceeds raised today will go towards helping local communities. We are also collecting food donations to help those in need.

Christmas can be a difficult time for some with cost of living pressures weighing heavily on families across the UK and we wanted to make a contribution to help local families this Christmas

If your place of work is anything like our office there is always a sweet treat of something or another. We moan when there's no getting away from it and we moan when the supply gets low. 😂 Because let's face it, despite all the best intentions to eat healthily, is it truly a Friday in the office without coffee and chocolate?!

Experiencing a personal injury at no fault of your own is upsetting, frustrating and exhausting. Not only does it come with dealing with the injury, pain and discomfort itself... but also the loss of finance, life challenges and administrative stress that is the last thing you need.

This is where teams like ours come in, through free initial consultation we can determine if there's a reasonable prospect of success to claim compensation. If we take on a case, we aim to keep the process as simple as possible, keeping you informed so you understand what's happening throughout.

Conducted under a 'No Win, No Fee' agreement, you can receive support from our team members of the Law Society Personal Injury Panel and the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers, so you can get the support you need with the least stress possible during a difficult time.

So, if you have had an accident abroad, accident at work, road traffic accident, a trip or slip or even experienced a criminal injury please do not suffer in silence. The first step in gaining compensation for any pain, suffering or financial loss is to call us to see how exactly we can help.

It's Recycle Week (Oct 14-20) and this year’s theme is ‘Rescue Me,’ highlighting those commonly missed recyclable items.

The Groundwork team is at the Household Waste Recycling Centre (the tip) all week to offer advice and support on what can be recycled and make sure everything goes in the right bin.

If you've booked a visit, stop by and say hi and we’ll help you unload and sort your items ♻️
