Kate Toner joined Jacklyn Dawson in April 2022. Kate advises on a number of non-contentious Private Client Matters including Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection and Probate. Kate is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. STEP is a worldwide recognised organisation, and this is a qualification that few hold. In addition, Kate has obtained an Advanced Certificate in Will Preparation of which only a few Solicitors in the region hold. Kate feels that Will writing is too often considered a task that many can complete, when in fact, due to the ever complex case law surrounding Will writing, it is more than ever, a task in which legal advice should be sought. Kelly Pratt joined Jacklyn Dawson as a solicitor in August 2022 and is based at our Monmouth office. Kelly’s area of expertise is residential conveyancing including sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity. In addition to running her own caseload Kelly assists Matthew Price in the Monmouth Office with residential matters as well as basic commercial property matters. Kelly studied Law and Politics along with her Legal Practice Course at Swansea University and qualified as a Solicitor in 2018.
