I have received this email which from what appears to be HMRC stating I am owed a rebate and asking me to create a Government Gateway Account so they can send me the money.
I am treating this email as a scam and I hope that if anybody else gets one of these emails they will do likewise.
Thank you.

The UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office is stating that the flight ban remains in place because there has been no report made public by the Egyptian government following the Metrojet crash in Sinai nor the disappearance of the Egypt Air plane off the coast near Alexandria.
It may well be that the Egyptian government is reluctant to admit publicly that extremists are active in Egypt.
Egypt needs to appear a strong and relatively stable country to access funding from the IMF.
Egypt may also have concerns about the level of compensation it might be liable for should any prosecution prove successful and implicate Egypt.
Egypt should remember that extremism is an international problem which may only be addressed with external assistance. It may be seen as sign of strength and not weakness for Egypt to seek that help.

Legal steps have been taken to ensure the UK Government will not trigger the procedure for withdrawal from the EU without an Act of Parliament. The case is being brought by leading law firm, Mishcon de Reya, on behalf of a group of clients. Following publication of articles on the subject this week Mishcon de Reya has retained Baron David Pannick QC and Tom Hickman to act as counsel in this action, along with Rhodri Thompson QC and Anneli Howard.

The Legal Challenge to Brexit.
A legal challenge on behalf of a consortium of concerned interest groups has been launched by the solicitors Mishcon de la Rey.
As most people probably realise by now the EU referendum is not legally binding and the legal challenge focuses on the legislation passed by the UK parliament that took us into Europe.
This act cannot be revoked without another act to replace it; in this case it would have to be an act that gave parliament permission to leave the EU. This act would require a vote and would have to be in place before Article 50 could be invoked paving the way for Britain's withdrawal.
This legal action is an interesting development and will be watched closely by all those involved.
We remain in the EU and Cameron remains as Prime Minister until the Conservatives elect a new leader.
Whether there will then be a general election is not certain.
Watch this space.
