Admittedly it’s the most romantic day of the year - and Wills aren’t exactly romantic….

But if you’re popping the question, or moving in together - then it’s really important to make sure you review your Wills ☺️

❤️ A little known fact that getting married revokes any previous Wills you have made (you are treated as though you don’t have one!)

❤️ The law does not recognise couples who live together and who are not married - if you don’t have a Will, your partner could be in a pickle if you died without making a Will (they would have to bring make a court claim!)

❤️ Understanding how inheritance tax works and the difference between being married/civil partnership and simple cohabitees is also important - we can tell you all about that ☺️
