Just to give everyone advance notice about office hours over the Christmas and New Year period, the office will close at 1 pm on Friday 19th December, 2025 and will reopen at 9 am on Tuesday 6th January, 2026.

The courts will be covered in this period and anyone with dates set in this time will be expected to attend if that have already been told to do so.

We will answer emergency calls, but will not be making appointments, etc,

We are delighted to announce that Emily Simpson, our trainee, is now a fully qualified solicitor after the Law Society of Scotland confirmed that she now in a position to hold a full and unrestricted Practising Certificate, and to call herself a Scottish solicitor.

We would like to offer her our congratulations on achieving this important milestone in her legal career.

We are also delighted to confirm that Emily will be remaining with the firm as an assistant and hope that she continues to enjoy her time with us and developing the thick skin needed to work here 🤣

This weekend sees court holidays on Friday and Monday, so the office will be closed on both days.
There is a custody court on Saturday for anyone unfortunate enough to get arrested. We will be covering that.
Best plan is not to be arrested!!!

Just to give everyone as much notice as possible:

For the Christmas and New Year period, the office will close on Friday 20 December 2024 at 1 pm and will reopen on Monday 06 January 2025 at 1000 am.

Courts will be covered in this period.

If you have a Court date in this period, then - YES your case WILL call and you WILL have to be there, unless we tell you otherwise.

Office will be closed on 22 November 2024 for staff training.

Answering machine will be on and our lawyers will be attending the Courts.

The office is now closed for the Easter weekend. My staff have earned a few days off too!!

We will reopen on Tuesday 02 April at 0930 am.

There is a custody court on Saturday 30 March 2024 at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court Annexe. If we have custodies, we will be there for that.

If you have an urgent matter, then you can leave a message on the office phone.

If your matter is not urgent, please call next week.

When we come back, we will also make an announcement about a change here.
