Our very own Lindsay Slater had a wonderful time at Manchester Hall on Friday 9th October, attending a charity event in support of !

It was a great opportunity to catch up with fellow legal professionals, raise funds and shine a spotlight on the incredible work Headway does to support people and families affected by brain injuries.

Abuse isn’t always obvious.

It can be emotional, financial, or controlling behaviour that leaves someone isolated and afraid.

If you’ve noticed a friend becoming withdrawn, anxious, or needing “permission” from their partner, your support could mean the world.

The most important thing is to listen, not judge. Don’t pressure them to leave before they’re ready. Instead, let them know you’re there, you believe them, and they’re not alone.
