Proposed changes to Temporary Event Notices (TENs) could give hospitality and events businesses greater flexibility from January 2027, subject to Parliamentary approval.

The proposed reforms would increase the number of TENs permitted at a premises from 15 to 20 per year, and the number of days covered from 21 to 26.

As Gill Sherratt notes, it's a welcome step that could provide valuable support for businesses across the sector.
