We recently spent the day volunteering and bonding with our newest Charity Partner, Derian House.

Whether it was gardening or cleaning up the front of the grounds, our volunteers were happy to get stuck in and transform the outside of the hospice ready for the summer.

This week we are celebrating 30 years of support, insight, and expertise from our very own Tracy Warburton.

Speaking on Tracy's milestone, Co-Head of our Clinical Negligence team, Angharad Hughes, said:

"Simply, what would we do without Tracy!? Tracy is the mother, organiser and general source of all knowledge in the team and huge congratulations to her on 30 years’ service in the Clinical Negligence team at JMW Solicitors. She goes out of her way to support all staff and new starters and ensure the smooth running of the department. She is a real asset to the team and the firm, I want to thank her on behalf of the whole for everything she does!"

On Friday our Family team went for a Freshwalks hike around Disley and Lyme Park.

The walk was filled with beautiful views of the local countryside and South Manchester, with the opportunity to climb up to The Cage - a 16th century hunting lodge.

This week we celebrate 20 years of support, hard work, and dedication from our very own Melissa Gardner.

Our very own Cathy Leech and Rachel Botterill will be taking part in the Spinal Injuries Association's Overseas Cycle challenge next week which will see them cycle 350km from Toulouse to Bordeaux.

All money raised will go towards helping the charity ensure they can continue supporting those with spinal cord injuries in tackling the barriers they face and connecting them to the help and support they need.

This morning we hosted breakfast at our Manchester office for our charity partners and colleagues.

The morning gave our charity partners the opportunity to share the work we've been doing with their organisations over the last 12 months and allowed our colleagues to sign up for new volunteering opportunities with them.

Thank you to our charity partners Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary, Manchester Youth Zone, Foundation 92, The University of Manchester, and Derian House for joining us and we look forward to working with you for a further 12 months.

On Friday we hosted our annual sporting lunch with guests of honour, Steve Bruce and Peter Reid, taking to the stage to share their tales of football glory.

It was a lively afternoon with plenty of laughs and an incredible £2,000 raised for We Love MCR Charity and St James's Place Foundation.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and to Mercury Financial Management Limited for partnering with us yet again. We hope you enjoyed yourselves as much as we did.
