⚖️ Another important Judicial Review success today.

Following our application for permission to proceed with Judicial Review proceedings, the Home Office has now agreed to reconsider its decision in a complex immigration matter involving allegations of deception and a 10-year ban imposed in 2022.

Our client had continued making applications over the years, consistently maintaining his innocence. Unfortunately, the Home Office repeatedly refused to accept his explanations. ❌

We took over the matter and pursued Judicial Review proceedings vigorously. Initially, permission was refused on the papers. However, we did not stop there. 💪

We lodged an application for an oral renewal hearing seeking reconsideration of permission. Following detailed legal submissions, permission was granted. ✅

Before the matter could proceed to a full hearing, the Home Office agreed to reconsider the decision. 🔥

This case is a powerful reminder that:
📌 An initial refusal is not always the end
📌 Persistence matters
📌 Strong legal representation can change the outcome

We remain committed to standing up for clients facing unfair immigration decisions, allegations of deception, and lengthy re-entry bans.

⚖️ Justice requires persistence.

🚨 Navigating the UK immigration system can be a heavy financial burden. A recent success story showcases how expert legal guidance led to a full Home Office fee waiver, saving a vulnerable client an incredible £11,078 on a human rights application. 💷

What exactly is a fee waiver? It's a special provision that allows applicants who can’t afford the substantial Home Office fees and Immigration Health Surcharge to have these costs completely waived based on financial hardship.

This highlights the critical role of legal expertise in supporting vulnerable individuals through the application process and making immigration more accessible.

Losing a Skilled Worker sponsor licence can be devastating for any UK business. It not only halts your ability to recruit overseas workers but can also result in existing sponsored employees losing their right to work, causing serious operational and financial disruption.

In this case, we successfully assisted a company whose Skilled Worker sponsor licence revocation had already taken place—and crucially, where the deadline to challenge the decision had passed.

The Client’s Situation

Our client, a growing UK business reliant on international talent, had its sponsor licence revoked by the Home Office following alleged compliance breaches. The revocation meant:

- Immediate loss of the ability to sponsor Skilled Workers

- Existing sponsored staff placed at risk of visa curtailment

- Severe disruption to business operations and ongoing contracts

By the time the client approached us, more than three months had passed since the revocation decision.

A strong result in a challenging human rights case ⚖️

Our client approached us after the application was certified by the Home Office as “clearly unfounded,” removing the right of appeal.

We acted swiftly to challenge the decision by way of Judicial Review, putting forward robust legal grounds. As a result, the Secretary of State has now agreed to withdraw the certification decision and reconsider the case.

A positive step forward, ensuring our client’s matter receives proper and lawful consideration.

A fantastic outcome for our client 👏

We are pleased to share that we have successfully secured the reinstatement of a sponsor licence that had been revoked by the Home Office.

Despite the Pre-Action Protocol (PAP) being submitted out of time, our team prepared detailed representations supported by strong legal arguments and compelling reasons. Following careful consideration, the Home Office agreed to reinstate the licence — allowing our client to continue operating and sponsoring workers without further disruption.

This case highlights the importance of expert legal advice, even where deadlines have passed. With the right strategy and robust advocacy, positive outcomes can still be achieved.
