Working our way through the decorations in this beautiful cottage — one room at a time. Fresh paneling fitted today to tidy up this area and create a seamless finish ready for paint.

It’s always satisfying seeing these spaces slowly come back to life, and we can’t wait to show the finished result 👌

I’m really enjoying this ongoing project, transforming this beautiful cottage one room at a time.

The lounge walls and ceiling have been fully prepared and sanded back to a smooth finish, ready for decorating. The chosen colour — Farrow & Ball ‘Preference Red’ — brings a warm, cosy feel into the room, while the skirtings finished in eggshell white create a crisp contrast.

A few additional jobs along the way included relocating a wall light to allow space for curtain poles, as well as removing a radiator.

Today I attended a property to restore the kitchen diner and bathroom ceiling, both of which were in desperate need of rectification ahead of marketing.

I carried out full preparation work including patch repairs, sanding, and painting to achieve a smooth, clean finish. Once fully dry, the ceilings will be fresher, brighter, and gleaming white — helping to present the property at its very best.

We carried out exterior decorating works to both the front and rear elevations, giving the property a clean, fresh finish throughout.

To complete the transformation, we also installed a rear pergola, creating a stylish shaded outdoor area perfect for relaxing and entertaining. ☀️🏡
