Over the last century we have seen huge amounts of deforestation, rapid industrialisation, and the greatest exploitation of natural resources in the history of mankind. Leading to climate change, a loss of biodiversity, natural habitats, and human displacement. It is now more important than ever to take positive steps to preserve our environment. Here at Aria Grace Law, we are extremely passionate about doing so, and plant a tree after every deal made, in a gesture that both literally and metaphorically gives back life and sets new roots for the future. This World Nature Conservation Day we celebrate the beauty of nature and the importance of preserving it and its resources for future generations.

At Aria Grace Law CIC, we truly care about our environment and today, we celebrate World Rainforest Day to honour and promote the world's rainforests. Rainforests are a type of forest where rainfall is continuous and abundant all year round. Although they only cover around 6% of the earth's surface, they are home to 50% of all terrestrial biodiversity, also harbouring crucial resources for new therapies and medicines. Rainforests are at the heart of the world's eco system, playing a vital role in both climate regulation and carbon absorption and storage. On this World Rainforest Day we raise awareness of the importance of our rainforests and the need to take continuous action to combat deforestation, countering and reversing some of the worst effects of climate change. It is estimated that within 100 years, there won't be any rainforests left. At Aria Grace Law CIC, we make a conscious effort in remembering and acting upon this by planting a tree after every deal. As the theme for this international day is, "The Time is Now" we'd love to hear from you on what you're doing too.

Today is World Environment Day. 🌍

The motto for the 1972 United Nations Stockholm Conference on the Human Environment was “Only One Earth” and half a century later it still rings true. We have one home; one planet and we must protect it.

This year’s global campaign focuses on the importance and need to live in harmony with nature and appeals for transformative changes to both policies and individual choices to enable more sustainable, cleaner, greener living.

Today acts a day to raise awareness on the ways in which patents, trademarks, copyrights and designs impact our daily lives, honouring the contributions creators and innovators have made to societal development globally. This year the theme of the day is “IP and Youth: Innovating for a Better Future”, celebrating youth-led creativity and innovation.
