Received another successful application of British citizenship through grandparent birth in the UK.

Application was submitted in mid February 2019
Decision received on 31 May 2019
Ceremony date in Cape Town: 10 July 2019

It is now possible to claim from maternal grandfather's birth in the UK under the new changes introduced last year. Thanks to the Supereme court ruling.

Minor children under 18 may also qualify through parents or grandparents.

Home office published their new fees from 29 March 2019. Surprisingly most of the fees remained same. Fee rise may have been reserved till October change. Please see the link below published on 7 March 2019.
