Helping people get access to legal advice!
The large majoirty of people in the UK don't know how to access legal advice, and 14 million who live in poverty or on very low incomes can't afford it. This is of grave concern to us who practice in the legal profession. To try and effect some change we are walking with the Lord Chief Justice and thousands of other lawyers to raise funds for the London Legal Support Trust which funds Law Centres and pro bono agencies in and around London.
Our team in the London Legal Walk will raise vital funds to ensure that there is access to justice for our communities’ poorest and most vulnerable people, not just the fortunate in our society.
Funds raised by the event will support over 100 legal advice agencies in London and the South East. We know that these agencies do a fantastic job in preventing homelessness, resolving debt problems, gaining care for the elderly, fighting discrimination and exploitation.
Please help us to help others if you can, by going to the link below and donating whatever you can afford to give. Any size of donation will be gratefully received.
