BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS BEFORE DOING BUSINESS
Last week, the team at Ballantines LLP had the pleasure of attending the Chamber London Summer BBQ.
As lawyers, we attend many networking events throughout the year. However, the events that leave a lasting impression are rarely defined by the venue, the attendance numbers or even the programme itself.
They are defined by the people.
What stood out most was the quality of the conversations taking place across the room.
Founders speaking with investors.
Business leaders exploring new opportunities.
International delegates sharing insights and experiences.
New connections being formed that will undoubtedly lead to future collaborations, partnerships and growth.
In an increasingly digital world, there remains no substitute for bringing people together in person.
Business is built on trust, and trust is built through meaningful human connections.
It was inspiring to see such a diverse and international community gathered together, reflecting the very purpose of Global Chamber London — creating opportunities for businesses to connect, collaborate and grow beyond borders.
