Finlay Roberts died just a month before his third birthday after hours spent in an A&E corridor.

This weekend, his story was highlighted on BBC One's Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg.

During the programme, Finlay's parents, David and Liz Roberts, spoke about their concerns regarding corridor care and the circumstances surrounding their son's death. Responding to the case, Health Secretary Yvette Cooper apologised on behalf of the NHS and said: “No child should be treated in a corridor. No patient should be treated in a corridor.”

Concerns asbestos in schools remains a danger for teachers and pupils

Harminder Bains, partner at Leigh Day and a leading asbestos claims lawyer, featured in a special report by Channel 5 News. Harminder represents teachers and former pupils who are dying from the asbestos cancer mesothelioma. Her clients are concerned that leaving asbestos in schools and managing it is "clearly not working".

Harminder says they are urging the government to allow experts to conduct air monitoring tests to assess the dangers of asbestos levels in the schools.

She said: "Every child and member of staff deserves to learn and work in a safe environment. Increasing confidence in how asbestos risks are monitored and managed in schools is a vital step towards that goal."
