Gherson thoroughly enjoyed participating in the Criminal Law Section Mock Trial at the International Bar Association (IBA) Annual Conference 2026 in Copenhagen.

Caroline Black played Karen Holm, a public official accused of corruption (and blinded by love), in the case study “Corruption Strikes Back”.

The session brought to life allegations of bribery, public procurement and corporate criminal liability, providing insights into the financial crime trial process and Danish law and procedure.

It was a pleasure to join such an exceptional international team. Thank you to all the participants and session chairs for bringing together such a fantastic group and making the session so enjoyable.
