Before Christmas, I was personally instructed to appear in an English Court for a Filipino family who came to the UK as visitors but unfortunately overstayed. Today, Judge Degremenci made a decision that agreed with my legal submissions and representation that it will be a foul of their Article 8 ECHR rights to be separated. The Home Office lawyer fought so hard but in this occasion, did not succeed. We won!!! Salamat sa Diyos!

Some English test qualifications, including the B1 test, are valid for 2 years. However, for citizenship applications, if a B1 level qualification was accepted when you settled in the UK, you can still use it even if it has expired. Therefore, you do not need to retake the test in this case.
