✨ Something new is coming to London...

For years I've watched people leave Indian classical concerts saying,

"It was beautiful..."
..but not always knowing why.

The Joy of Raaga was created to change that.

This isn't just a concert.

It's a welcoming space where we explore one raaga through conversation, live demonstration and performance. A place where curiosity is celebrated, questions are encouraged, and everyone, whether you're completely new to Indian classical music or a lifelong listener, can discover the joy of listening.

I'm honoured that one of Britain's leading Hindustani classical vocalists, Pandit Chiranjib Chakraborty, is joining me as our Founding Artistic Mentor & Guest Artist for this pilot launch.

I can't keep this anymore... ✨

December Release 🌙✨
My heart has always lived in Bengali music — its depth, its poetry, its soul.

This December, I am releasing two Bengali classics:
Tomar Khola Hawaa (Tagore)
Bosiya Bijone (Nazrul)

Recorded on the cliffs of Santorini and produced in collaboration with a Bengali music producer, these songs are my offering of voice, emotion and place — East meeting West.

I have been blown away !!!! Love my birthdays 🎈

HAMLET was magical. I don't have a lot of words. But I can say those boring English classes at school didn't do Hamlet justice.

Hamlet collapses time, pulls characters out of their dusty “classic” boxes, and shows you the raw humanity underneath. Mixed eras were a superb way of showing the timeless play. A play that is always happening in every generation, in every context

Multi-layered storytelling, character depth, mixed traditions, and emotional resonance. This kind of production is exactly aligned with my artistic DNA.

❤️ Not reciting Shakespeare, but resurrecting him.

In one breath: Elizabethan ruffs, WWII soldiers, a man with a laptop, and a heroine whose life was so vivid that her death felt like a personal loss.

Great theatre doesn’t preserve time. It breaks it - to reveal truth.

When Zohran Mamdani became New York’s first Muslim mayor, the headlines called it a “historic win for diversity.”
And it is but let’s go deeper.

His mother is Hindu. His father is Muslim.
He is the bridge so many of us claim we want, a living reminder that identity can connect rather than divide.

Yet the truth is this: the rich and powerful never really hate Muslims or Hindus, they dislike anything that threatens privilege.
Minorities, migrants, the poor, anyone who reminds them that power should be shared.

The system doesn’t fear faith.
It fears equality.

And let’s not fall for the illusion that certain leaders “like” some minorities more than others.
Trump’s so-called love for Hindus, for example, is a political costume.
To oligarchs, we are all the same, useful when we serve, dispensable when we dissent.

Mamdani’s rise matters not just because he’s Muslim but because he represents something bigger:
that empathy, intellect, and integrity can still overcome the machinery of money.

That’s what truly unsettles the elite, the idea that justice, not wealth, can lead.
