We messed up.

Three weeks ago, due to our bankruptcy, InsightHub was sold to the highest bidder ($900) to avoid crashing into administration. The new boss is an enigmatic German count who rules with an iron fist- he's terrifying. I'm typing this post from under one of the upturned desks in our dusty old office. Things have gotten REALLY bad here. Count Burguntz has stopped paying bills and our premises have been foreclosed by the authorities. We're basically trapped in here with no heat, light or access to the outside world. Things went from bad to worse last weekend when the Count unleashed a flock of gulls into the office. They settled down and their mad cries ceased after a day or so, but now there's bird s**t everywhere. It stinks and it's really slippy. Those of us who have survived manage to stave off starvation by huddling over a small supply of chocolate bars we found in an old filing cabinet. We occasionally peak out from our dark, cobwebbed enclaves to see his dark silhouette pacing wildly around the office. Kicking debris across the floor and throwing computers across the room. He occasionally cries out in German but none of us can work out what the hell he's saying.

F**k me InsightHub is a great company. Excellent staff, food's great and they're constantly on the verge of loosing control of their relentless stampede of innovation. They've only just got a handle on it. It could blow at any time. I hope they manage to keep it under control.

It is with a heavy heart that we're announcing InsighHub will be shutting down due to an ongoing legal battle.

We're packing up our things, collecting the cash, unplugging our phones, closing the curtains, dusting our draws, calling it a day.

It's been fun. We want to send out a big thank you to our loyal supporters. Whether through cash donations or signing up to our mailing list, we reached out to a lot of you and the response was more than we could have ever hoped for.

Special attention must be called to the following loyal supporters:

Chris Field - Our numero uno. The boss. Compadre #1, Chris has offered his support time and time again for our fledgling company. We will miss his wisdom, guidance and of course those fantastic suits of his.

Tom Wade - 'The Wadester', Tom was a true InsighHub evangelist. We modeled several services on his own dynamic needs. We look forward to regular updates from you Tom.

Marcello Febbroni - Marcello hosted our annual conference last spring. We wouldn't have broken into the south-eastern markets if it weren't for his tireless campaigning. A kindred spirit of ours and one we won't be forgetting anytime soon.

We leave you with this note from our CEO, Dennis Waterman:
