If you are experiencing domestic abuse and have children, you might be worried about reporting it, fearing you could lose contact with them. Please know the police and courts focus first on your children’s welfare.
By taking steps to protect yourself and them, like reporting the abuse you can keep your family safe.
If you feel unsure, please contact a solicitor to understand the protection steps you can take such as non-molestation or occupation orders.
