A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Africans In Fife Community ❤️

What a truly successful and inspiring event it was!
We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who attended the Africans in Fife Community Event, as well as those who supported us from afar but were unable to be present. Your encouragement, participation, and commitment to community building made this gathering a memorable success.

The event provided a wonderful opportunity for Africans from different backgrounds to come together, connect, network, share experiences, and build meaningful collaborations.
It was encouraging to see new friendships formed, ideas exchanged, and a stronger sense of unity created among us.

A special thank you goes to our guest speakers, who generously shared valuable information and resources. Their presentations highlighted important opportunities and services available to our community, including:

✅ Employment and job opportunities for new immigrants
✅ Welfare support and available assistance packages
✅ NHS health awareness and pioneering healthcare initiatives
✅ Health screening information and preventive care guidance.

The knowledge shared will undoubtedly help many individuals and families make informed decisions and access the support available to them.

This event reminded us that when a community comes together, we become stronger, wiser, and better equipped to support one another. Unity is not just about gathering in one place, it is about building lasting relationships, creating opportunities, and ensuring that no one feels alone on their journey.

Thank you all for being part of this success story. May this be the beginning of even greater collaboration, empowerment, and growth for our African community in Fife.
Together we rise. Together we thrive. Together we build a stronger community.

Why do you call 10x during dating stage and less when you marry?

Is it because you live together and end the day together, that means communication is done in person mostly.
It's called adjustment.
We don't call our kids when they live in our home, but we call them often when they go to camp, at school far away from home, or living miles away from us.
Hope that helps?
It's all from a place of love.
Nothing wrong with calling less when you live together.
My take!!!

How many times do you speak to your loved ones when apart?

UPDATE FOR UK STUDENT 👇👇👇

INFORMATION ON WORKING IN THE UK

We would like to remind all Student visa holder students to ensure that any employment undertaken in the UK complies with the conditions of your visa and UK immigration regulations.

Before accepting any job, please check your visa conditions carefully and confirm that the work is permitted under your immigration status. Failure to comply with visa restrictions may have serious consequences, including potential impacts on future visa applications and your right to remain in the UK.

Please note that student visa holders are not permitted to undertake self-employed work, operate a business, or engage in activities where they are considered an independent contractor rather than an employee. This may include certain gig-economy roles, such as food delivery services, courier work, job-sharing, freelance work, or other arrangements where you are registered as self-employed.

Please see the UKCISA website for further information.

If you are unsure whether a job is compliant with your visa conditions, please seek advice from the Visa & International Support team before accepting the position.

If you require information as to when you must remain working up to 20 hours per week, you can obtain this information on our Working in the UK pages. A 'week' means any seven-day period starting on a Monday. You are responsible for ensuring that you do not exceed your weekly working hours, so it's essential to keep detailed records of your working hours.

It is really so annoying seeing how some of you breaks the bridge you once crossed so others will not pass through.

I saw a family who came back to Nigeria after having their IRL, made enough money to begin a reasonable business here in Lasgidi.

They got back home to Lagos, bought a house, got two cars, registered children in good schools.

All they do now is demarket and bad mouth the UK.

We don’t want our children to grow in such a place bla bla bla...

I just hiss and pass !!!!

But all the money you are enjoying now, you made it from that bad place,

You waited until you got your IRL before leaving. Denounce the ILR or citizenship and be like average Nigeria with no peace to run to for emergency cases or backup plan, abi???? 🙄🙄🙄 ( ndi uchu!!!!). Bad Belle 😄😄

You both are thieves dear.
You can only f00l your gullible followers.

There's something I have always done and it has not changed 1 bit.

I encourage, motivate and explain realities of abroad to people who truly wants a chance to better life without insulting their home country or dream country.

It is positive vibes but truth must still be told.
Travel if you can afford it. Don't let anyone discourage you. Not even me.
