Hello Friends, if you are in the UK and wish to make an application for leave to remain, you may want to do so before the 18th of March 2016. Usually, the Home Office increases application fees on the 5th or 6th of April but this year, they shifted the goalposts. The price increases are frightening. Indefinite Leave application fee goes up from £1500 to £1835, Naturalisation from £1005 to £1236 and ordinary Leave to Remain applications from £649.00 to £811 for each applicant. Multiply that by the number of people in a family, it becomes very significant. Then there is 500 pounds for NHS per person applying.
