New Entrant and Skilled Worker Visa Salary Requirements:

As a new entrant to the job market, you can be paid either 70% of the standard going rate or a minimum of £30,960 (whichever is higher). This is typically applicable to most students and recent graduates.

To qualify for the new entrant rate, your total sponsorship period must not exceed 4 years. This includes any time previously spent on a Tier 2, Skilled Worker, or Graduate Route visa.

You will be considered a new entrant if you meet one of the following criteria:
• You are under 26 at the time of your application.
• You are currently in the UK on a student visa (or have been within the last 2 years) studying at bachelor’s degree level or higher.
• You will be working towards a recognised qualification in a UK-regulated profession.
• You will be working towards full registration or chartered status in the job you’re being sponsored for.
